The butterfly card I showed a few days ago used a super easy shadow technique. Just punch a shape (it can be anything) and layer a smaller shape in the opening. I used the Elegant Butterfly Punch and the new Bitty Butterfly Punch for my previous card, for this one I used circles.
*I'm sorry about the glitch, this was supposed to be published before SAB was finished! I am going to post this card anyway because the layout is cute and it highlights a different way to use the shadow technique. Plus we all need ideas on how to use the SAB items that we earned!*
I used a layout that I saw on a fellow demo's blog, Lyssa Zwolanek. Her version was punched entirely through the card base so I altered it slightly. This is a complete Sale-a-Bration card. It uses the designer paper, a stamp set, ribbon and a button from the SAB catalog!
