Organization makes me happy!
For my embossing folders I use the same binders as I do for the framelits. I have the same black card stock inserts in the sleeves to separate the embossing folder since I put two in each sleeve. The black also allows me to see the design on the embossing folder more clearly. I have a label in each corner that lists the name, price and item number for each folder as well. I love being able to flip through and find the exact folder that I need without looking through a basket six times.
Now to show you what I am really excited about...
a closer look...
I used my Food Saver to "seal" the sleeve and make two compartments (or three) for the sets of folders, then I cut the black cardstock to the new size. It keeps the folders organized instead of sliding around. LOVE it!
ETA: I used the Food Saver on "seal only" for 5 seconds. I think the sealing will depend on your model and the thickness of your protective sheets. To get the appropriate sizes I measured the sleeve in half or thirds and marked it with a Sharpie. I then aligned my mark with the sealing edge on my Food Saver.
This is another 2" binder and it holds every Stampin' Up! embossing folder ever made (yes I have them all), although it is now full. In the future I will probably place the retired folders in a different binder.
To answer a question from yesterday's post, these are called memo sized binders and I purchased these at Office Max.
Thanks for letting me share!
