Here is the last card from January's class. It's a super girlie card made with the new More Amore Designer Series Paper. I LOVE that paper and could not resist making a valentine with the pack. I did have "From the Heart" and "Sweet Little One" as well as other sentiments for my stampers to choose if they wanted.
I love it when the patterned paper packages have colors that I would not have normally put together. I tend to use the same color combinations so designer paper is a good starting point when I want to get out of a color rut!
Stampin' Up! Supplies:
- Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (w: 115370 c: 127802), Hearts a Flutter (w: 129249, c: 129252)
- Paper: Naturals Ivory, Primrose Petals, Primrose Petals Core'dinations, Pool Party, Very Vanilla
- Ink: Real Red, Pool Party
- Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976), Hearts a Flutter Framelits (130159), More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (129309), Pearls Basic Jewels (119247), Full Heart Punch (119883), 1 3/8" Circle Punch (119860), Sanding Block (129367)
Turn your heart a little when placing it inside the embossing folder. Suddenly the "plus sign" design on the Square Lattice folder become little x's for kisses. It adds a cute little touch to your valentine.
When sanding your Core'dinations cardstock, start lightly and sand in different directions. You will reveal more of the pattern that way! On larger pieces I also sand from the inside outward so I don't risk bending the edges of my cardstock.
Thanks for letting me share!
