I've been working on making inserts for the stamp sets that I purchased before these sets came in the new cases. I'm a little OCD and I couldn't stand that the sets didn't all look the same. Plus, I love the idea of having the index on the side the way the new cases do. It speaks to all of my organizing and OCD tendencies. I'm sharing the fruits of my labor just in case anyone else is converting their sets.
I tried to find good quality images for the inserts, but some of the words with more delicate lines look a little fuzzy to me and some I just couldn't find a higher quality picture. I colored the images and stamp set names to match the logo also. I also added a barcode for the item number that I generated at www.barcoding.com just so they looked a little more like the original "real" inserts.
These are PDF files, when printing make sure that "Documents & Markups" is chosen and print at 100% or actual size. I also print in "high quality" and make sure to uncheck the box that say "high speed". Here is a photo of the selections on my computer.
I use a better quality paper than my normal printing. Once printed I cut them along the top edge right where the color begins, do the same for either edge and then cut the last side by measuring it just under 7".
If you would like to make your own, here are the blank templates:
I'll be adding new inserts to the list as I get them done!
