I found a cute card online, by Krista Jensen, that I liked and wanted to use for a card class last year. I changed the color, ribbon and layers a little and got this.
Krista tied the ribbon through a small hole punch on each end of the Whisper White piece. I had recently gotten the Primrose Petal stitched ribbon and wanted it to be threaded through the piece while still laying flat. Most of my stampers thought it would be difficult to align the holes until I showed them this little trick.
- 2-Way Glue Pen
- Contrasting Colored Cardstock
Flip your punch over (so you can see through it) and align the opening with the contrasting cardstock you've adhered to the piece. The contrasting cardstock makes the are you want to punch easy to see and the layer creates a lip that makes the alignment super easy! Then punch your circle.
